T@NE musician, saxophonist, composer, producer, rapper, vocalist, actor, director is from Brooklyn New York. Growing up in a musical environment at an early age allowed T@NE to develop love and passion for what he does. Incorporating all genres of music and a real sense of unity and teamwork allows T@NE’s music to be enjoyable, inspiring and energizing to listen to. T@NE born Arnold Tone Kaplan Lee in Brooklyn New York, 1985 to Bill Lee and Susan Lee. Surrounded by musical influences T@NE started playing drums at the age of two then switched to saxophone at age seven. Learning from his father, Bill Lee, bassist, composer and legendary jazz musician, (Bob Dylan) (Cat Stevens) (Simon and Garfunkel) (Duke Ellington) (Odetta) and more, T@NE performed his first concert at the age of three. Home schooled by his parents, Susan and Bill, allowed T@NE to travel on tour with his father. T@NE attended the Oberlin Conservatory of Music from 2005 to 2009, where he earned his bachelors degree in music performance. While at Oberlin T@NE studied with Gary Bartz, Billy Hart, Robin Eubanks, Dan Wall, Paul Samuels and Marcus Belgrave. After graduating T@NE joined Wallace Roney’s band for two and a half years. After releasing an album under the name The Arnold Lee Quartet, in January 2012, T@NE moved toward music that incorporates more electronica, rock and pop. His interest in electronic music was influenced by guitarist/composer Rafiq Bhatia, a fellow graduate of Oberlin. T@NE then apprenticed with producer Yuri Beats, who taught him the fundamentals of music production. Continuing to expand and build his craft, he produced his first electronica track with Jules the Villain, titled "Crystal Waterfalls," released in March 2016. T@NE released his debut single Rock Joint on May 17 2018 a captivating, exciting track that makes you want to enjoy music and rock out. Thoughts the second single from T@NE was released on December 5th 2018. A beautiful, energetic and futuristic song that takes you on an incredible journey of vibrant sounds and colors. In Concert at Arlene’s Grocery the new album from T@NE is an incredible concert that gives the audience tremendous feelings of excitement, energy, love and inspiration; released on April 24 2019. On March 18, 2020 T@NE released the new EP GO. GO encourages people to follow their dreams and passions. And through consistency, dedication, discipline and countless hours of hard work you can accomplish anything you put your mind to; let's get it. On January 7, 2021 T@NE released the new single Autumn. On March 9, 2022 T@NE and MIKESH!FT released Autumn (Mikesh!ft Remix). On April 25, 2022 T@NE released the music video for Grown Men, which is also T@NE's directorial debut. T@NE and Dronez collaborate to bring you Autumn (Dronez Remix), released on July 19, 2022. T@NE along with his bandmates Taber Gable keyboards, Andrew Renfroe guitar, Dan Pappalardo bass, Peter Manheim drums, are making music for the future.
